Born in Guatemala and raised on the Hawaiian island of Maui, Ani is a mix of her idols Gloria Estefan, Selena Quintanilla, and “Sex in the City” fashionista, Carrie Bradshaw.
The lavender-haired, high-heel stepping, Latin, pop and dance music diva also has her own unique vocal stylings that have gained her notice and awards at local and national competitions, festivals and other events.
She’s currently working on her first album, her first single, "Dance The Night Away" hit the Top 40 Billboard Dance Club Songs charts, with Del Oro Music’s multiple awards winning producer Robert Eibach. Eibach has produced and engineered for several Grammy, Latin Grammy and HMMA (Hollywood Music in Media Awards) winning and nominated releases.
This vocalist, musician and performer is “living the dream” and excited for what comes next.
“I want to be touring, clubbing and dancing – I want my music to flow all around and go international,” she said, of her future hopes and goals.
In addition to singing and dancing, Ani is a talented musician and plays piano, bass, guitar, drums, bongos and congas.
As a young teen, she performed with several bands in SoCal. Now she’s active as a solo performer, singing and dancing to her own songs, as well as the music of Gloria Estefan, Shakira, and, of course, Selena Quintanilla.
She’s also currently co-writing songs with her Grammy winning and Billboard Charting record producer, Eibach, for her first solo album.
Her single, “Dance the Night Away” is about as Ani as a song could be, talking about putting her high heels on, dancing to the conga beat, and reaching for the stars. “Dance the Night Away” was released this summer and has already climbed the BILLBOARD Dance Charts to reach the TOP 40!
